  8. I just got the issue. Your kitchen is the best thing in the magazine. Helps you use my favorite colors. I love the pops of turquoise and the hood over the stove. It's definitely an inspiration to me as I want to redo my kitchen.

  9. I saw your kitchen in the magazine this weekend and started jumping up and down. We have the EXACT same layout and square footage as your kitchen (circa 1980 blah) and I have been racking my brain for a plan to do a whole remodel this year. I hate my kitchen. As I got into the details of what you did, I simply fell in love and am SOOO excited to do something very similar ourselves. I've already scanned the article and send it to our cabinet designer. Then I looked up your blog and am excited to go through this as well. Thank you for sharing your successes!

  11. I read that article a week or so, ago. My favorite part (besides the gorgeous kitchen) is where you noted that you tore down and then made decisions along the way - rather than having a definite plan before you started. I shared that with my husband - who is a meticulous planner and procrastinator - our kitchen needs a wall removed - THEN I will decide what I want to do next. Perfectly normal, don't you think?
