Holiday House Tour
Welcome to our home and stop #14
I've decorated our living room and dining room for Christmas in turquoise and greens, along with some vintage and handmade items.

It’s easy to change your every day framed art with custom holiday prints.

Ornaments tied with ribbon and attached to the shutters, just adds a little color.

Vintage brooch on old wool sweater turned into a pillow.
Silk hydrangeas tucked into the tree to add a little cream color, it almost looks like popcorn, doesn’t it?

The tree was made from branches from a dead dogwood tree we cut down.
I added moss rocks to the base and decorated it with some homemade and store bought ornaments. I love the way it turned out and you can’t beat free.

A collection of vintage frames and book page art.

I LOVE this! One of the reasons I feel a connection is that your colors are very similar to the colors in my home, though my neutral is a mushroom-taupe instead of white. Everything looks FABULOUS and the idea of hanging ornaments on the shutters is great. I have small paintings and photos hanging from mine.
ReplyDeletepretty!
ReplyDeleteYour home is absolutely stunning~ magazine worthy! Thanks for sharing it with us today and happy holidays.

Madly in love with all your beautiful Christmas decor! The turquoise just pops! It's sad you had to cut down a dogwood tree, but that brach is just the.perfect.branch. I've hung things from branches before and mine look all wonky. :)

Trixie, I love LOVE your room in the turquoise/blue/green combo! Everything is so PRETTY! I love these colors too, but have such a colorful mishmash, I could never achieve the purity of design that you have here. Love the holiday designed sheet music etc in the frames and the twiggy tree! Very sweet. Also love the soda chalkboard, as you can see, I am in love with these colors and the shabby chic look!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Holiday!

Sherry
