Update a bookcase or Shelves
This is a great trick if you want to change out the back of a shelf or bookcase, just add fabric or wallpaper to change the look.
I covered the blue paint in my kitchen for the holiday by cutting foam core board to size and wrapping burlap around the foam core.
I used tape to hold the fabric in place so I can easily change it when I want a new look.

I added tarnished silver, book page prints and sprinkled in a little Halloween décor.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I love burlap every way it comes and that looks especially good!! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteYour shelves look great! And I really like the contrast between your dark countertops and white cabinets. I recently renovated my kitchen and I did open shelving above my apron sink as well. I did granite countertops though and your wood counters are making me regret it! :-)
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen looks so cute and festive... Happy Halloween to you too...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great simple trick.
ReplyDeleteGotta give it a try!
