Fun Painted Front Doors
There is nothing like a pop of color on your front door to make a statement.
My plan is to paint our plain door soon, once the hot weather is gone, today was 90. Isn’t it the middle of October?
Here are some doors I love.

All great pops of color. I Can’t wait to do mine.
Mine is Black but I want Turquoise!
Is your door painted the color you want?
What color is it and what color do you wish it was painted?
I would love to paint my front door but with pale yellow siding and cranberry trim, white seems to be the safest color. Looking forward to seeing your door...but I gotta say the first photo with that fabulous red door sends me around the bend!
ReplyDeleteI would also love to paint my front door. Our house is almost a hunter green steel siding, and the hubs has stated the siding will not change. I'd had the door brown and now white. I'd really love to do a grey or yellow, but not sure how it will turn out.
ReplyDeleteI just had my house re-painted Straw by BM and the door is Santorini Blue by SW. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteMy front door has been red for about 10 years. I love it but am ready for a change. One hint-I used high gloss paint and didn't realize how hard it is to get a smooth finish without brush marks. Of course that could just be my painting skills or lack thereof! I think I like dark turquoise for my door also.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to add that I love the turquoise doors on your post. I pinned them to my pinterest a couple of weeks ago. I like your style.
ReplyDeleteMine is barn red right now, but I need a new color. I am thinking Yellow!
ReplyDeleteMine is a cranberry/red color and matches the shutters!
ReplyDeleteMine is grey but I want a burnt rusty dark orange-ish color.
ReplyDeleteI just painted ours black. I think it looks the best out of all the other colors I had. It matches my black wicker and table. It's similar to the first door above.
ReplyDeleteOurs is leaded glass and a deep green...and the house is classic white with green roof and trim. I think it probably looks the best of anything.
ReplyDeleteI painted my old, weathered wood front door a beautiful burgundy color called Merlot by Behr over the summer. I totally love it, even more now since I put my fall wreath up! Check it out on my blog header!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could paint mine a turquoise but we alas, we are renting right now so it will be staying white. Our house is macaroni and cheese yellow with white trim and a white door but it would be so cute with a striking deep turquoise door. Can't wait to see how yours turns out!
ReplyDeleteMine has a sky scene painted on it in shades of blue and cream!! Fun to look at!
ReplyDeleteLove that blue door

Loving your inspiration!
ReplyDeleteMine is rose now and I am painting it turquoise too! Well...one day soon anyway!
mine is blue right now but by tomorrows end it will be a pop of squash yellow! I can't wait to see the difference...I'll post about it soon.
ReplyDeleteI love looking at your photos of doors ....Unforunately I live in an apartment and mine has to stay boring grey but someday ...
