Lovely Aqua Walls
I painted my bedroom yesterday with the help of my wonderful mom. (FYI: I have the best mom in the world).
We work well together, she does the rolling and I do the cutting in.
The walls are a lovely aqua color, it's going to tie in nicely with the headboard and the fabrics.
Now on to the sewing!!!
Decorating is never done...... projects, projects, projects.
Gorgeous color!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you just posted. One of the things I wanted to remember to do today is to take the time to visit ALL of your posts!

Girl...you are obsessed with that color!
ReplyDeleteOoh pretty! And wouldn't it be sad if there was nothing else to do for a project?? ;)
ReplyDeleteI wish that I wasn't so afraid of going with a lovely color like yours. I am always leaning to cremes and taupes and accessories in colors. I guess I'm just a big chicken. I love it, it's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYou do wonderful things with your color.
The color is so pretty! I was debating between an aqua or irish cream for my vedroom. I went with the irish cream, so I could paint some furniture pieces aqua. Anyway, we're headed in the same direction, it seems, just on different paths. I can't wait to see how your room turns out.
ReplyDeleteI truly thought that I was the ONLY person in the world who had such a love for aqua....so glad to see that I'm not alone.
ReplyDeleteThe walls are gorgeous...may I ask what color did you use?
So glad you gave a sneak peek. I'm excited to see photos of the finished project! Girl..your design style has made me want to change every room in my house! Don't be surprised when my name shows up inquiring about a design-consultation! Continue to sparkle, Terri Smith, Dimples & Dragonflies

That is so my color for the last two years. I am drawn to it like a moth to a flame. I even moved to an aqua and red Christmas from the traditional gold and red. I think your room looks heavenly. I couldn't think of a nicer way to wake up everyday.
ReplyDeleteThe color is wonderful. I have been trying to pick the perfect shade of aqua for a year now. May I ask what color you used. The closest I've come to a color is Benjamin Moore's Iced green....but I like yours more.
