Sad. I would have rather seen the settee recovered. Other wood pieces could have been used where the settee would was used and been just as good.This is probably why I have in all my 50 years of life never seen an actual settee.

I like your blog. I can't imagine why you didn't recover the "settee" instead of busting it. I've never seen a settee in my life except in photos. I just think that it was sad.Because couldn't you have just used other wood pieces to achieve that look instead of that beautiful settee?
