Plaster frames red0

I found these cute plaster frames at a garage sale for .50 cent each. I figured I could find someway to change them up. They each had ugly paper landscape scenes glued inside the frame.
P1020206 I just removed the pictures, dry brushed a little cream paint onto the frames and added some burlap for the backing. I used  2 cameos I had leftover from a previous GS red0 project as seen here.  For the cameos, I painted the metal surround with  aqua paint.

Hi Trixie-

I enjoy your blog.

Those framed cameos really do look nice.

I am a bit new at the DIY thing so I don't know too much. What is dry brushing?

You did an awesome job on the framed cameos. I love, love, love cameos.

And, painting the edging of the cameos was just what they needed.

Lovin' it lots!!!

They are so sweet! I absolutely love cameos! My mom had a cameo necklace that I loved as a child, and every time I see a cameo I think of her! Thanks for sharing!
