Well I sure couldn't, this is Bailey, my little rescue puppy. I'm a huge animal person, I love cats and dogs all the same. I don't have any children although I've always wanted them; it just wasn't in the cards for me. While I already had 4 cats, I wanted a dog to add to my family. I was torn between getting an adult dog or puppy. My reasoning for an adult dog is they are usually harder to place but on the other hand I had to think about my cats and I was worried an adult dog possibly attacking them. I had my heart set on meeting an adult dog that I had found on
Petfinders, I was told she seemed fine around cats, but just a few days before meeting her I got a call saying that they had found her original owner. Needless to say I was a little sad but happy that she was reunited with her family. Once again, back on
Petfinders searching for a dog/puppy in need of a family, I found her. We had to drive 4 hours round trip to meet the cutie and she was worth every minute. Well Bailey will be 1 year old in a few weeks and I can't imagine my life without her. I was inspired to write this after reading a post from the Decorated House blog.
